Платформа „Фортуноф“ – видео-архива сведочења жртава Холокауста

Бесплатан приступ платформи „Фортуноф“ на рачунарима Универзитетске библиотеке у Крагујевцу

Будући да је основан Центар за студије сећања (ЦСС) при Универзитету у Крагујевцу 2020. године с циљем да окупи и понуди интердисциплинарну и мултидисциплинарну платформу за истраживаче који раде на пољу културног памћења у најширем смислу, у сарадњи са Центром, корисницима и радницима наше библиотеке омогућен је приступ  платформи „Фортуноф“ – видео-архиви сведочења жртава Холокауста (Fortunoff Video Archive for Holocaust Testimonies), америчког универзитета Јејл, која се чува у оквиру Универзитетске библиотеке поменутог Универзитета и библиотеци Стерлинг. Архив тренутно чува више од 4.400 сведочења, која се састоје од преко 12.000 снимљених сати видео-траке. Сведочанства су настала у сарадњи са тридесет шест повезаних пројеката широм Северне Америке, Јужне Америке, Европе и Израела. Архив Фортуноф и његове филијале забележили су сведочења вољних појединаца са искуством из прве руке о нацистичким прогонима, укључујући оне који су се крили, преживеле, посматраче, отпорнике и ослободиоце. Сведочења су снимана на језику који је сведок желео, и то у дужини од 30 минута до преко 40 сати (снимано током неколико седница).

Студије памћења знатно су порасле у последњој деценији, али још увек немају много јасно одређених места окупљања за истраживаче различитих дисциплина и професионалног порекла, како би размењивали идеје и учили једни друге различитим теоријским, методолошким и емпиријским приступима. Штавише, широм света се истражују питања која се тичу сећања, али премало је интеракције између различитих субјеката. Тежња ЦЕНТРА ЗА СТУДИЈЕ СЕЋАЊА јесте да активним идентификовањем и умрежавањем научника и истраживача који се активно баве културолошким студијама сећања промени такву ситуацију, али и да постане важан форум за поље студија сећања – како путем округлих столова, семинара, радионица, предавања и интердисциплинарних конференција, тако и кроз снажно присуство на мрежи.

Препознајући такве тежње, жеље и амбиције, интернационална јеврејска организација с центром у Сједињеним Америчким Државама, Claims Conference, одобрила је финансијску подршку да се по први пут у Србији покрену Студије Холокауста у оквиру студијских програма Универзитета у Крагујевцу. Студије Холокауста осмишљене су с циљем да се студенти различитих профила, пре свега друштвено-хуманистичких наука заинтересују да се упознају с историјским контекстом који је претходио и за директну последицу имао Холокауст. Предавања из програма Студија Холокауста покривају најразличитије области: књижевност, уметност, културу сећања, јеврејску културу, права итд. У темељу овог програма су сазнања о токовима и разноликости јеврејске културе, као и познавања вековима дуге историје европског антисемитизма који је резултирао нестанком милионске јеврејске популације једнако као и брисањем материјалних остатака јеврејске културе.
